Also a place to put my 'art'.
7. HDR. Finally a programme that can do HDR (High Dynamic Range) and Tonemapped images with ease, simplicity and speed. Instead of Photoshop, I have used Photomatix PRO v4,0.2. Here are some images from the past given a proper HDR (3+ exposed images) or Tonemapped process.
6. A wet and windy day, so I draged out some instruction manuals and played around with the hi-speed and strobe functions on one of the flash units.
5. A recent illness found me at home with the mind wandering, and thinking "I wonder if....?" This is the result... don't blame me, I was sick!
4. Photoshopped. Isn't the interweb a wonderful thing? Recently discovered a website with many Photoshop tutorials...OK, so I got a bit carried away. All are revamped oldies.
3. Sliced & Diced... my extention of triptychs and given some creative licence with one image. All images are oldies from 2007-9.
2. Triptych - A triptych (pronounced /ˈtrɪptɪk/ TRIP-tik, from the Greek τρίπτυχο, from tri- "three" + ptychē "fold") is a work of art (usually a panel painting) which is divided into three sections, or three carved panels which are hinged together and folded. It is therefore a type of polyptych, the term for all multi-panel works. The middle panel is typically the largest and it is flanked by two smaller related works, although there are triptychs ofequal-sized panels.
.....well, that's the "official" version. mine are slightly different, as in some cases I have divided one image into three parts, not always equal. Comments always welcome. All images are from our Canada/Alaska trip in 2008.
1. Images Removed. The Best of 2009 is now ready for viewing. Of course it is only one person's opinion. The link to the right will take you to the page....each image has a short comment in a downloadable Microsoft Word .RTF file or Adobe Acrobat .PDF file.
