Like what you see? Positive and negative feedback is appreciated. (If negative, why?) Can see room for improvement with any aspect of my photography? More than happy to take your advise and implement workable changes. Email: contact_us@joc.id.au Thanks!

Gibraltar Falls and Corin Dam. Inspired by a photo spread in the Canberra Times by Andrew Sheargold, I ventured forth armed with my new ND filters and "had a go".

Lightning. My first ever photos of sky zappies, taken late in the afternoon. With a little bit of help from a piece of very dark glass - a 6 f-stop ND filter.
12 Nov 2011. Had to do something while waiting for rally stages to start (see SportzFotos). Here's a collection of HDRd sky shots and some photos of the ACT's floral emblem.
The National Botanical Gardens, Canberra. A great time of the year for a visit. Certainly is some pretty "unusual" aussie plant life out there.... Day of the Triffids anyone?
Cockington Green. Has been a while since our last visit. Still good to discover/re-discover the hidden treasures of the place.
Floriade 2011. A typical spring day in Canberra for our annual visit to the Floriade display at Commonwealth Park.
Chief of Airforce Farewell Parade. Yes, there was a parade, but everyone with a camera (and some exy ones there was to!) was out to get a photo of the flyby!
The Chief of Army's Farewell Parade. Held at Russell Offices 24 June 2011. After running (actually walking) the guantlet of AFP officers, I managed to capture some of the moment.
Autumn Colour. Some Late autumn colour from around Kingston, Lake Burely Griffin, Red Hill and the front yard...
Shannons Wheels Motoring Expo, 27 March 2011. An annual event growing each year. Here is a selection of vehicles given the HDR treatement using Photomatix.

Balloon Festival. An annual event here in Canberra, unfortunately for the past couple of years the weather has been most unkind to photographers.
Enlighten 2. Some more from Parliament House and the National Gallery on a clearer night.
Enlighten. Some of Canberra's icons lit up for the City's birthday. Including Old & New Parliament Houses and the National Library. More to follow.
2011 Royal Canberra Show. Photos from 26/2/2011 taken by Melissa and Wayne.
